Classic Lesson Yields Beautiful Results

Eighth grade students spent several classes carefully observing a large collection of still life objects.  They worked, and reworked, and revised, and revised some more; checking for the smallest details of texture and value.  A time-honored art lesson, the observation drawing is still a valuable one that helps students learn to truly observe and hone the skills they need in every other lesson.
