Grade 5 visits the world – in drawings.

From Egyptian tombs to the Hudson River School, humans have loved to capture the beauty of our homelands and the nature surrounding them. 5th graders have been exploring the elements of landscape in both 3D clay sculptures (coming soon) and 2 dimensional pastel drawings.  They focused on overlapping, size change, and fore, middle, and backgrounds, to create the “Illusion of depth”.  Take a look and ask yourself where your next trip will take you.
