Animal House

Seventh grade students spent some time getting to know a vast menagerie as they worked on animal portraits in graphite.  They looked at photos and worked hard to carefully observe the values in the images. They then used different drawing techniques to create textures to help draw those values and make the drawings as realistic as possible.  The results speak for themselves.  These drawings will be used as studies for the painting project coming up next.
