Metro: Copper Tooled Cities

Seventh grade students looked at the geometric forms and myriad patterns in our modern cities to create their own versions on these small copper plates.  Using various tools they pressed, outlines, punched and re-pressed from both sides complex patterns and basic shapes.  A black mount and reflected light turn these 4×6 images into tiny metro jewels.
